About the Role

Currently, we are looking for several passionate, thoughtful, and results-oriented go-getters to join our Revenue (Sales) Team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with technology, have a strong understanding of education, and a burning desire to not only be successful but also operate as a team player in support of our K-8 school customers.

The Associate Account Executive will cultivate and manage relationships with mainly public school and district decision makers in their focused territory. You will be our field advocates building the brand and generating revenue. With that in mind, the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, educational advocates, and senior district administrators is vital.

At BookNook You Will:

  • Generate new sales opportunities in partnership with the assigned Account Executives in their territories through a variety of strategies

  • Actively prospect assigned territory for new sales opportunities, performing to defined standards

  • Contact prospective customers via multiple channels with a goal of establishing rapport, identifying their particular pain points and needs, and scheduling a discovery meeting with your assigned Account Executive partners.

  • Contact existing relationships to generate interest in BookNook solutions

  • Conduct product sales presentations in person and via webinars

  • Provide expert knowledge of our product to prospects

  • Identify local opportunities and initiatives, then work with Marketing to create a targeted campaign

  • Showcase the product at local educational technology conferences

  • Utilize your skills and experience to further the development of your peers

  • Anticipate traveling up to 20% of the time within your assigned territory.

You are a good fit for this role if you have:

  • Interested in working for a mission-driven company that prioritizes both financial success and helping children overcome educational challenges

  • 1+ years of business development representative or sales development representative experience

  • Fearless, competitive attitude and the drive to attack goals on a daily basis

  • Demonstrated consistent discipline in daily prospecting and can clearly articulate effective methods for achieving success in this area.

  • Significant experience in a scaled B2B Service or SaaS sales operation

  • Competitive salary: For this role, the base salary range is $60-70k based on experience, plus commission/bonus.
