Base Pay: $160,000-$190,000 + Bonus
The Vice President of Revenue is a key member of the Leadership Team, responsible for owning and driving BookNook’s revenue strategy across the full customer lifecycle—from pipeline generation through customer expansion.
Reporting to the CEO, this role leads Revenue functions to deliver predictable, scalable revenue growth. The VP of Revenue will build and optimize a high-performing, data-driven organization, ensuring alignment between go-to-market strategy, customer experience, and business outcomes.
This leader will play a critical role in shaping how BookNook grows—balancing mission impact with commercial success.
What You Will Do
Revenue Strategy & Execution
- Own and deliver against company revenue targets, including new business, renewals, and expansion
- Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy aligned to company goals (OGSM-driven)
- Establish and track key revenue metrics including pipeline health, conversion rates, and forecast accuracy (+/-10%)
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team on growth opportunities and market trends
- Translate market insights into actionable strategies across Product, Marketing, and Delivery
- Alignment of compensation strategy with revenue outcomes
Sales Leadership
- Establish clear sales structures, roles, and accountability frameworks to drive consistent performance and goal attainment
- Develop and execute territory planning, segmentation, and account strategies to maximize regional and vertical success
- Coach and mentor sales leaders and individual contributors on sales methodology, deal strategy, and pipeline management
- Provide executive sponsorship on strategic deals and key customer engagements to accelerate close rates
Pipeline & Performance Management
- Monitor and optimize pipeline generation, velocity, and conversion rates across all segments
- Implement consistent performance management frameworks and accountability structures
- Drive data-informed decision making through reporting, dashboards, and forecasting discipline
Customer Growth & Experience
- Partner cross-functionally with Program Delivery and Product Strategy to improve the end-to-end customer journey
- Identify and drive expansion opportunities within existing accounts
- Ensure customer feedback informs product and go-to-market strategy
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Deep understanding of the EdTech landscape, K-12 ecosystem, and/or high-impact tutoring models- this is required
- Proven track record of leading and scaling revenue organizations in a high-growth environment
- Experience building high-performing teams and driving accountability to exceed revenue targets
- Strong expertise in forecasting, pipeline management, and data-driven decision making
- Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Exceptional communication and executive presence, with experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience implementing structured growth frameworks
