Job Description: Research, design, develop, test, and review electrical systems, schematics, and printed circuit boards (PCBs) for mass production of Eko’s electrical medical devices. Duties include: help design and implement non-invasive cardiac monitoring devices; assist with the preparation of technical drawings/specifications of electrical systems for product manufacturing; work closely with firmware and mechanical engineers on electronics, sensors, and system designs for medical products; compile data and maintain process and test documentation; work collaboratively with manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams; and help identify and communicate requirements, risks and cross-functional issues.
Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the following skills: Analog and digital signal processing; EMC, FCC, and medical device regulations; Board level circuit design; Wireless communication; Design for Manufacture (DFM); and Electrical CAD. Alternatively, the employer will accept Master’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field and two years’ experience in the following: Analog and digital signal processing; EMC, FCC, and medical device regulations; Board level circuit design; Wireless communication; Design for Manufacture (DFM); and Electrical CAD.
