Who You Are:

You are a creative problem solver and self-starter who obsesses about the customer and will not give up till your customer is successful. You possess an entrepreneurial spirit with a deep desire to build platform tools and applications that use data from every part of the enterprise to help them automate business critical functions while providing them with capabilities to look at the impact of business events occurring today into the future.

What You’ll Do:

As an engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with like-minded engineers to build a massively scalable multi-tenant data intensive system using mostly open source technologies like Spark, BigQuery, dbt, and Fivetran We need collaborative developers who are not intimidated by difficult problems of scale, concurrency, reliability, can think big and deliver innovative solution to those big problems.

What you Need:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics
• 5+ years hands on experience building enterprise or cloud scale software using Typescript, Node, Express, Python
• Experience with designing and shipping highly scalable, available and reliable multi-tenant cloud services
• You are the person other people in the team go to for technical guidance and design advice for all things related to services and data architecture

What would set you apart:

• 5+ years of experience in developing and shipping complex software systems in a fast paced Software Development Lifecycle
• Exceptional design and problem-solving skills, with a strong passion for performance analysis, quality control, and engineering excellence at scale.
• Unbounded curiosity and willingness to question without the need to be told what to work on.
• Have a deep desire to work collaboratively, solve problems with your peers and find win/win solutions and celebrate successes.
• A proven track record of improving scalability and performance for multi-tenant SaaS businesses
• Experience in designing databases and analytics engines at scale is a must
• Experience with Spark, BigQuery, dbt, and Fivetran is a major plus.
