The Customer Operations Associate will aid in driving customer-service operational excellence across growing and expanding product lines and business channels. This role will support Meati Sales Operations with superior customer service expertise within the CPG Industry and will contribute to developing effective long-term relationships with key Retail, Foodservice and Distributor partners. This individual will collaborate with all functional areas to ensure Supply Chain alignment with overall business strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer orders from time of receipt to delivery of goods In accordance with designated service level goals
  • Enter and process orders using NetSuite and EDI platforms ensuring pricing, promotions, and terms are accurate.
  • Send order confirmation to customers and request revisions as needed.
  • Invoice customers upon receipt of orders, including revision of invoices when needed
  • Assist in customer onboarding and implementation.
  • Work with Sales team to complete New Customer Set-up Forms, any external new customer paperwork as required by customer and establishing customer profile within ERP system (NetSuite)
  • Completes new Item forms for new customer onboarding
  • Manages set-up of any new customer portals to ensure on-going accurate item management
  • Assist in EDI integration for both Meati's internal systems and external logistics partners.
  • Manage Internal Item Catalog and Price Sheets, Including new Item set-ups for any new product Innovation
  • Responsible for Internal UPC creation, updating internal item catalog with any spec or UPC changes along with new item set-up for any Innovation launches with current customers
  • Manage, maintain, and report key performance indicators for both external and internal customer service performance metrics.
  • Maintain relationships with new and existing customers, including building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with key distributor partners
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Customer Service and Purchase Order Management - experience in CPG Industry preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Operations or relevant industry experience.
  • Experience with ERP Systems and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)
  • Experience with Industry-specific Item publishing systems, is a plus - GS1, 1WorldSync, IX-One
  • Knowledge of CPG distribution channels and key customers
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Mastery of software tools: Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Project Management Tools, etc.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $54,000 - $71,000 annually, which is just one aspect of our total compensation package. In addition to the salary, this position is eligible for a potential annual bonus and equity! Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
